Special Reading Week Challenges

  • End of term letter

    Mon 29 Mar 2021 Mr. O'Connell

    Hello,

    Our latest newsletter is now available online (and has been sent to all parents via ParentMail).

    The final newsletter of the Spring term includes:

    • A reminder about the covid@allsaintsfed.derbyshire.sch.uk e-mail as we'll continue to provide test and trace service during the first 6 days of the Easter break;
    • Information about our rescheduled parents' evenings
    • Summary and next steps following our recent parents' questionnaire;
    • Information about two events for the first week back: a Positive Parenting course and a Virtual Coffee Morning;
    • Information about our new Facebook page which we are trialling. You can find us by searching for All Saints' CE Federation.
    • An update on the building and grounds improvements being planned and undertaken at both schools.

    I hope that you and your family enjoy a restful Easter break. Please do keep in touch via the covid@allsaintsfed.derbyshire.sch.uk email if your child feels unwell.

    We look forward to welcoming you and your child/ren back to school when we reopen on Monday 19th April, following the same staggered arrival times.

    Many thanks for your continued support for the staff, children and each other.

    Mr. O’Connell

  • Welcome back to All Saints'

    Mon 08 Mar 2021 Mr. O'Connell

    Dear parent(s) and carer(s),

    It has been wonderful to welcome our children back to All Saints’ CE Infant and Junior school this morning. Thank you for your continued support when bringing the children to school. We really appreciate your support by wearing face coverings and maintaining the space between each other.

    Lateral flow tests for parents

    We would like to share information regarding regular, rapid COVID testing for all parents (and adults within childcare bubbles). Our staff have been undertaking these tests, twice a week, since January and we continue to do so.

    We would like to encourage as many parents as possible to take up this offer (primary aged school children are not being tested). The use of tests for parents can help to further reduce transmission rates and it gives us the best chance of keeping both schools open for interrupted education.

    You can find further information in our latest letter sent home today.

    Thank you for your continued support.

    Many thanks,

    Mr. O'Connell
