At ASI we love a Mystery reader, Thank you so much to Ms Burt for coming in to read to year 1 last week! ๐๐
Wow!! How amazing are these drawings that Year 4 have been doing of the Bayeux Tapestry in their History lessons!
Year 4 have loved their first djembe drumming session, focusing on pitch and singing this week!
We have some very exciting projects completed in Sunflower Club!
Year 1 visited our beautiful All Saints’ church this week and held a mock wedding.
After the wedding they held a feast back at school which obviously included dancing!!
This week our Gardening Club were tasked with sorting out and weeding the planters in the EYFS garden. They all got stuck in to the task and made the beds look lovely and ready for our plants to grow!
This week has been absolutely amazing for our Year 1 & 2 scientists! From engaging experiments that sparked curiosity to hands-on activities that inspired endless wonder, our children have had a blast exploring the fascinating world of science. ๐งช๐
We’ve seen them building, experimenting, investigating, and having so much fun while learning. ๐โจ
It’s been a joy to see the children so engaged and excited about learning. ๐๐ก
Everyone at ASI would like to say a very big THANK YOU to one of our very generous Great Uncles for his donation of our new bird house!
The bird house has been put in our garden near our apple trees and we are sure we will be able to do some bird spotting soon!
Thank you!
WOW! Another Year 2 Mystery Reader… but with a twist!!
Last week we had a visit from the very lovely John Gill who entertained our Year 2 children with musical storytelling!
