The children at the Junior School really enjoyed their time in Church today. We learned all about Lent and had an exciting time. The highlight was the dressing up activity. It was lots of fun as well as being very thought provoking. Well done children on your excellent behaviour, and a big thank you to the Church for setting it all up
A fabulous 'crafty' afternoon in Year 5 on Wednesday. Thank you to all the parents/ carers who joined us for our D&T project to 'design and create a stuffed toy'. Such a wonderfully creative experience!
"This week was our Year Four Open Mornings, it was wonderful to see so many of you joining your children for their morning work activities. It made a real difference to the children, they have been very excited to talk about what they are doing in class and to show you around their room. Thanks to everyone who managed to come along."
What a fantastic World Book Day we had at the Junior School! Our children came into school bursting with excitement wearing some truly brilliant costumes, from beloved book characters to creative homemade outfits, it was wonderful to see everyone celebrating the joy of reading.
Throughout the day, the children took part in a range of bookโthemed activities, shared their favourite stories, and enjoyed spending time exploring new books together. Their enthusiasm and imagination made the day truly special.
We hope you enjoy the photos, which capture just a few moments from our celebration. Thank you to all our families for the effort put into costumes and for supporting a love of reading at home.
A delightful collection of our school staff bringing stories to life with their World Book Day costumes! Keep your eyes peeled for photos of the children appearing soon!
"The Year 4 children had a visit from a Viking! We had an exciting day looking at artefacts, playing Viking games, writing runes, listening to stories and even a mock battle with a shield wall and lots of foam javelins."
