Information for all parents

We have published a comprehensive letter which we hope provides information for all parents. You can access the letter on our website.
We hope you find this information, including details of the children's continued learning, useful.
Thank you to the parents who completed our Key Worker information form. We have reviewed the list and are in the process of contacting parents via ParentMail. We appreciate your patience with this process. Unfortunately the guidance only became available very late last night and we are having some trouble with IT demands.
Please can I urge parents to familiarise themselves with the latest government guidance. This addresses the many questions regarding arrangements whilst our children are not in school.

I hope this message finds you well.
Many thanks for your patience and support over the past 24 hours. It has been lovely to know that we are working with parents as we all support each other.
As you know, school will be remain open next week, in some form, providing support for the children of 'key workers'.I'm conscious that none of us have any clear guidance yet from the government regarding key workers, other than they are parents who work for the NHS, emergency services or are delivery drivers.
If you feel that you are a key worker could you provide us with the following information so we are in a position to resolve the challenge of staffing and catering.Many thanks in advance,

Please see a letter which has been sent tonight, 18.3.20 at 6 p.m, in light of the decision to close all schools from this Friday.
Rest assured that we have clear plans in place so we will be able to continue to support you, in providing learning for the children and we look forward to the children accessing their learning online.

HOME LEARNING SUPPORT (in the event of a school closure)

I am writing to provide details explaining how our staff will continue to support the children during the coming weeks.
Rest assured that we have clear plans in place and our staff continue to work tirelessly. Both schools remain well staffed and the children at both sites are settled, busy and enjoying their learning.
Our school office will be in contact soon with a short survey regarding computer/tablet/online access. Please can you complete this so we can plan to best meet the needs of all of our children and families.

Coronavirus advice for parents / carers

We have issued a letter which outlines the steps we are undertaking to keep our children, staff and community safe.
We have also shared information from the World Health Organisation which we'll be using to support our children's mental wellbeing.

Sun 01 Mar 2020Our latest newsletter is now available online. It includes:
- Details of our new value which we are considering in Collective Worship: forgiveness (see the attached resource to support this at home);
- Details of a new information booklet which explains how we support our children with additional need(s);
- Reminder to look out for our Parents' Evenings slips which will be sent soon.
- Opportunity to review the books and materials we will be using to teach Relationship and Sex Education;
- Positive actions we have taken since our latest questionnaire and Parents' Forum to support friendship and address any fall outs/disagreements.

Parents' Forum: February 2020
Fri 07 Feb 2020Many thanks to the parents who joined Mrs. Lee and I over the past few days for for our Parents' Forum.
During the meetings parents and staff worked together to review several areas which we had noted during our recent parents' questionnaire:
- Our new approach to homework;
- How to further support friendship at All Saints'.

February newsletter
Wed 05 Feb 2020Our latest newsletter is now available online. It includes:
- A summary of our latest, successful Ofsted inspection at our Infant school;
- The outcomes of our positive parents' survey (thank you to the 289 parents who completed the online questionnaire and who overcame my IT limitations! I look forward to discussing these with our Parents' Forum this week.);
- Details of our Parents' Forum which meets this week;
- Reminder about our online safety rules for Infant children and for Junior children as we head towards Safer Internet Day;
- Positive news about School Crossing Patrol at the Junior site;
- Dates including school trips, music appreciation week and World Book Day.
- An exciting job opportuntity to work in our school office.

Infant school Ofsted report - good news!
Fri 24 Jan 2020I'm pleased to share with you that our Ofsted report has finally become available this afternoon. It's really lovely to be able to (finally) share that our Infant school is a good school.
I'll be writing to all parents next week with more detailed information, including the work we have undertaken following the inspection.

I'm sure you will join me in congratulating the staff for the wonderful work they do for our children, who in turn, deserve huge hugs for their continued enthusiasm for our school and their learning.

January newsletter
Thu 09 Jan 2020Our latest newsletter is now available on the All Saints' website and has been sent to all parents via ParentMail.
Our January newsletter includes:
- A reminder about healthy snacks;
- Information about music and Young Voices;
- Useful advice about online safety;
- Information about reading, including our new 'Classic texts and Must Reads' for every year group;
- Details about our annual parent questionnaire;
- Reminders about admissions, job opportunties and a coffee morning hosted by Derbyshire Autism next Monday, the 13th;
- Reminder about our adverse weather arrangements.
It looks like we're all set for another busy and happy term at All Saints'. Please remember that all of the dates and events are available on the calendar on our website.
Finally, just to keep parents informed that we are still awaiting our report from Ofsted for the inspection they undertook at the Infant school just before Christmas. Rest assured that we will share this with you as soon as it arrives.
