Dear parents,
I trust this message finds you all well.
As you are aware, new national restrictions are in place from today (5th November) until Wednesday 2nd December. They require us all to:
We are delighted that we continue to keep both All Saints’ Infant and All Saints’ Junior school open. However, to ensure that we can continue to do this, for all children, we need all of our community to abide by these government requirements. We have been grateful for your support in keeping apart when dropping and collecting your children and by wearing face coverings. These steps really help. Thank you.
We have shared a letter from Derbyshire’s Director of Public Health which further underlines the important role we all play in keeping our schools and communities safe.
Thank you for supporting our efforts to keep all of our children, staff and community safe and well. I look forward to your continued support in ensuring that we all maintain space and minimise day-to-day contact with other people and families.
Many thanks,
Mr. O'Connell
We're looking forward to welcoming children back to All Saints’ on Tuesday 3rd November after what we hope was a relaxing half term break for you all. Despite Derbyshire moving into tier 2 COVID restrictions, All Saints’ will be operating as we did last term, with our children remaining in class bubbles throughout the school day.

Good afternoon,
I hope you and your child/ren are safe and well.
We are looking forward to welcoming the children to All Saints' Church of England Infant school tomorrow for the start of the new year. I have written a letter to children in Years 1 to 6, with photos, which I hope will be useful to share with your child/ren.
Parents of children in Early Years: I hope your child/ren are continuing to enjoy the videos and recordings on Google Classroom.
Please remember that the school office is open today in case you have any questions.
I look forward to welcoming you and your family to All Saints' tomorrow. Please help support our community by keeping separate and maintaining the appropriate distance as you walk to and from school.
Good morning,
I hope that this message finds you and your family safe and well.
The staff and I are very much looking forward to welcoming you, and your child/ren, to All Saints’ next week. We have missed having you all in school and we can’t wait to get back to learning, playing and laughing together in our classes! Our staff have been really busy preparing and I cannot wait to see the children in their classrooms with our staff.
We have shared a summary of useful information which we hope will answer any questions you have. Much of this was shared in late July, but we have now provided information regarding the one way system which we’ll be using to help support social distancing requirements. I hope that the maps of both schools, with the year group colour coded arrows, will help your understanding of the one way system which we'll be applying. Rest assured that there will staff supporting these arrangements when we open on Thursday 3rd September.
Please remember that you can also find our risk assessment and a summary of our recovery curriculum online. For those with children in Twilight, you can access information regarding their risk assessments and plans on their website: www.twilighthours.co.uk/covid-19.html Finally, remember that our school offices will reopen on Tuesday 1st September.
I hope you enjoy the Bank Holiday weekand and I am very much looking forward to welcoming you to All Saints' next Thursday, the 3rd September.
Many thanks,
Mr. O'Connell

We have shared a letter detailing class arrangements for the next academic year which, all being well, we're planning to start on Thursday 3rd September 2020.
I'm pleased to share that our class structure remains the same as this year, bar one change which enables Mrs. Arnold to come out of her Year 5 class to become our SENCo, working across both schools.
We are looking forward to welcoming Miss. Parkes to All Saints', to work in Year 4. Children in Mrs. Stone's class can get to see and hear from Miss. Parkes right now (as she's just posted a video on the class stream).
Please keep your eyes open for a letter to follow from Mrs. Arnold, our SENCo from the 1st September, as well as details from the school office regarding parents' appointments and the Google Meets which our teachers are scheduling for their new classes.
Many thanks,
Mr. O'Connell
