Christmas newsletter

It’s hard to believe but Christmas has once again arrived and we have a busy few weeks lined up across both schools. It felt like the start to Christmas last week with our choir performing in a choir competition at the Intu centre, followed by  all of Year 3, 4 and 5 travelling to Nottingham Playhouse for the pantomime. Both events were greatly enjoyed by both the children and the staff. We thought it would be useful to share details of the final busy weeks with you: there are 14 events over the next 15 school days!

There's lots to look forward to including:

  • Theatre trips for the children in Early Years;
  • Theatre trips for the children in Year 1;
  • School trip to Newstead Abbey for the children in Year 2  to support their learning.
  • All of children will develop and practise their textile skills as part of our Christmas Craft Day.
  • Christmas discos for all our children, which will help raise funds to provide outdoor shelters on our playgrounds.
  • Plus there's some additional information on what to look forward to from January 2020.

You can find all the details and dates within our letter which has been sent out via ParentMail.

Finally, with the weather turning cold, please can I remind you that we have an Adverse Weather Procedure policy?
