We are thrilled to share an update from Miss Newbould, who is currently in India working with our link school and sharing her expertise.
So far, she has had an incredible experience! On her first few days, Miss Newbould visited the Udayan project, which supports families affected by leprosy. It was inspiring for her to see the amazing work this project is doing to make a real difference in the local community.
She then travelled to our link school in Dum Dum, where she received a fabulous welcome filled with songs and smiles! Miss Newbould loved reading stories to the children—“We’re Going on a Bear Hunt” was a big hit!
She has also been working closely with teachers at the school to plan learning activities and share ideas. Collaboration like this is such a wonderful way to learn from each other and strengthen our global connections.
And guess what? She even managed to have a video call with year 3 back home!
We can’t wait to hear more about her experiences and the exciting things she will bring back to share with us. Stay tuned for more updates!
