Our Art Curriculum

At All Saints, our creative journey begins in the Early Years, where children learn to handle pencils, brushes, and a range of materials to create their first portraits.

As the children progress through the school, from Reception to Year 6, pupils continually revisit and refine their skills in painting, drawing and sculpture. Alongside these core techniques, they explore additional areas such as weaving, carefully chosen to enrich their artistic experience.

By the end of their time at All Saints, every child will have developed the confidence and techniques needed to think and work like artists, architects and designers. We aim for all children to have gained a deep understanding of significant artists throughout history, inspiring them to appreciate and create art with knowledge and imagination.
