What is Pupil Premium?

The Pupil Premium was introduced in April 2011 with the aim of narrowing the attainment gap between children eligible for free school meals (FSM) and those who are not by ensuring that funding to tackle disadvantage reaches the pupils who need it most. It also includes Looked After Children, Previously Looked After Children and Services Children.

• At All Saints' we plan teaching and learning to meet the needs of all our children so that every child has an equal opportunity to reach their full potential.
• We understand the importance of ensuring that all day-to-day teaching meets the needs of every learner and that any intervention is purposeful and maximises potential.
• We support and encourage children to have a positive mind-set about themselves as a learner and feel confident to take risks.
• We aim to increase their self-belief and esteem through targeted nurture and SEMH groups.
• We use achievement data to check whether interventions or techniques are working and adapt planned teaching and learning accordingly.
• Our enhanced enrichment opportunities such as school visits, residential trips, music tuition and clubs are designed to offer the widest possible experiences to all our learners enabling the children a chance to explore a vast range of opportunities.
• Our pupil premium plans are based on the latest research.

Breakfast Clubs at All Saints' Infants and Juniors

We offer free places at our school-run Breakfast Clubs at both the Infant and Junior schools. The Infant Breakfast Club starts at 7:45am and the Junior Breakfast Club starts at 7:30am. Your children are welcome to attend everyday.
