Children learn how to work scientifically through a range of different types of enquiry that enables them to ask and answer questions, then plan and carry out investigation.

The curriculum encompasses the aims and programmes of study in the National Curriculum from year 1 to 6 and the EYFS Framework for our foundation stage children. Staff ensure children are taught scientific knowledge as well as scientific enquiry skills. 

Staff use the teaching materials from Developing Experts to ensure our learning is appropriate and challenging for all.
