    • OFSTED REPORT FOR ALL SAINTS CE JUNIOR SCHOOL

      Published 03/06/26

We are delighted to be able to celebrate the outcome of our recent Ofsted inspection at All Saints CE Juniors with our school community. Our report recognises All Saints CE Junior School as achieving a strong standard in all areas. This means that our school is performing above the level expected nationally, with leaders and staff working highly effectively. We are the only school in Derbyshire to date who have achieved this standard since the changes to the Ofsted process and it’s testament to the wonderful team work across both schools.

The team of inspectors highlighted many positive areas, noting that our children “achieve very well,” with outcomes consistently above national averages and we’re delighted to read that the team recognised all of our children thrive in a culture built on kindness, respect and belonging.

The report celebrates our ambitious and carefully designed curriculum, high-quality teaching and the inclusive approach which ensures every child succeeds. It also recognises the behaviour and attitudes of our children, alongside their excellent attendance and enthusiasm for learning.

We are particularly proud that Ofsted noted our strong leadership, nurturing ethos (building on the wonderful start at our excellent Infant school) and the positive relationships between staff, pupils and families, which together create a happy, safe and aspirational school community.

This report follows on from the wonderful Infant inspection last summer. It goes without saying that this report reflects the hard work and dedication of our entire school community (both All Saints CE Infant and Junior) and we are immensely grateful to our staff, children, governors and families for making All Saints such a special place to learn and grow.

The Acclimatize Staff ran a variety of adventurous activities for the children to have a go at, and a good time was had by all. The children then returned to school for a "sleep" over, although as to how much sleep actually happened - I am not sure!"
