Last week, we were delighted to welcome emerging artist Hannah Stewart to work with our Year 2 and Year 5 pupils.

Hannah shared examples of her beautiful portraiture work and taught the children how to use observation, tone and shading to create realistic pencil portraits. The children were fully engaged throughout the workshop and enjoyed learning from a practising artist.

We were incredibly impressed by the creativity, focus and perseverance shown by the children, who produced some fantastic artwork. A huge thank you to Hannah for such an inspiring visit and for encouraging our young artists! 🎨✨
