Year 4 welcomed parents, relatives and carers into school on Tuesday to join them for their Design and Technology project on ‘fastenings’. The aim was to create a book cover/sleeve that had a fastening to hold it together. Our chosen fastening was a button. It was lovely to see so many helpers in the room, and we very much appreciated having all those extra pairs of hands for threading needles and tying knots at the end of threads!
