Maths introduces children to concepts, skills and different thinking strategies that are essential and fundamental to everyday life.

At All Saints' we provide mathematical experiences for all of our children by embedding fluency, problem solving and reasoning skills into daily maths lessons, regardless of childrens ability, attainment or progress.

At All Saints, our curriculum is tightly based around the 3 areas highlighted in the National Curriculum to ensure that all children:

• become fluent in the fundamentals of mathematics; 
• are able to reason mathematically;
• can solve problems by applying mathematical knowledge.
