Relationships Education

Children at All Saints' currently take part in a weekly Personal, Social and Health Education lesson (PSHE) and also take part in daily Collective Worship.

Between March 2019 and September 2019, All Saints' will start to work with parents, staff, governors and children in devising a Relationships Education curriculum which is specifically for our children.

Additional support for developing our children's social, emotional and mental health

Emotional Literacy Support: ELSA

ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) is an educational psychology led intervention which aims to promote the emotional wellbeing of children and young people. It is based upon research and clear evidence,

Why do we run the ELSA programme?

We established the ELSA programme as we wanted to provide qualified support to our children who would benefit from:

  • developing an understanding of the range of emotions they feel;
  • learning to manage their anger and stress levels;
  • developing their self-esteem;
  • developing their social and friendship skills
  • learning to cope after loss or breavement.
